Improvement on my culminating activity

The last three blogs were about my eating and exercising plan for 21 days however there are other aspects of my health including these that I would improve on. I am a regular smoker, but I have cut down a lot in the last few months but I would like to keep improving to the point where I cut the habit completely. I want to change my exercising and eating habits so that I lose a certain amount of weight before summer starts. I do have a good plan right now, but if I could tweak some parts like the steak eating and maybe adding an extra day to the gym it would definitely help me attain my goal more easily.

Exercise plan - 21 days

This is going to be a short blog, because my exercise plans are the same every week so what I did i basically times it by three and that is my 21 day exercise plan. I have been exercising for months so this is not a new thing to me and I have a consistant plan that I keep to every day. I go to the One  Health fitness club that is right across the street from my house, so I walk there everyday and walk back home. On Mondays and Wednesdays I run on the treadmill for 45 minutes, and zumba for an hour. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I run on the treadmill or eliptical for half an hour, and then I have my person trainer for an hour. Fridays and Sundays are my days off however, so my body can take a break. On Saturdays I would go to pilates for an hour. This is consistant to every week so for my 21 day plan this is exactly that I would follow.

April 26th-May 6th

These eleven days consisted of my breakfast being either muesli, a fruit of sort, or a fruit smoothie, just to mix it up a little each day. My lunch was very consistant however of salad, the only change I made with it was that some days I would add salmon into the salad or pieces of steak. I had the have the same salad everyday which was ranch, not the best of choices for healthy dressings. My dinners would consist of either steak or salmon or shrimp along with steamed veggies or baked potatoes. One night was a cheat night for me and I had swiss chalet and I snacked on the Lemon Drop frozen yogurt place across the street from my house. Other than that one day however, my meals were consistantly healthy and delicious. I try not to snack in between meals anymore because I used to all the time and what I was snacking on was not healthy (chips, dip, etc.) If I do snack now it is usually with a mixed bowl of fruits that would consist of apples, pineapples, bananas, pear, all fresh and clean.

april 15th-25th - Detoxing

Day 1-10
These last nine days I spent detoxing. Not in the way everyone thinks, this type of detox is for getting rid of all the nasty wastes of unhealthy food and drinks out of my body. For a day and a half, the only thing I was allowing myself to ingest was water and nothing else. For dinner on the second half of the day (Tuesday night) I had a baked potatoes and steamed veggies. On the third day I had only small portions of fruit for breakfast, mixed raw salad with vegetables and a banana for lunch, and for dinner I had 2 ounces of cottage cheese and steamed vegetables with oil and lemon juice and for dessert an apple. The remaining days of my detox I ate the same as I did on the third day for breakfast and lunch, however dinner varied from cottage cheese, avacadoes, and baked potatoes. I also added another banana or two, baked potatoe or a hard boiled egg as the detox progressed. For dessert I changed it from different types of fruit. On the ninth and tenth day, I had homemade muesli for breakfast, salad with lemon and oil dressing for lunch, grilled fish steamed vegetables for dinner, and a baked apple for dessert.
